Important functions - anti-noise: SQ, ASQ and RF Gain

The PNI Escort HP 5500 CB radio station allows the most faithful control over the background noise specific to the CB band.

The adjustable analog SQ function with the potentiometer and 5-level ASQ allow the user to filter and remove noises making the communication clearer.

The 7-level RF Gain function allows control over the receive frequency, reducing distortion.

NOTE, to change the norm:

1. Turn off the station; simultaneously press the PTT key + the UP key on the microphone while restarting the radio station

2. The LED corresponding to the A/F key lights up, and the current norm appears on the screen

3. Press the UP-DOWN keys to reach the desired rate, then restart the station or press the PTT key to exit the rate setting mode.

Discreet and efficient

The PNI Extra 45 antenna is the smallest CB antenna (it has a height of only 45 cm) that can be mounted both on cars and on vans or minibuses. Its small dimensions make it almost imperceptible, easily confusing with the radio antenna.

Easy installation and calibration

The PNI Extra 45 antenna is easy to mount, by simply screwing the spike on the magnet fixed on the car dome, but also to calibrate, by rotating the tip with the screw, until the desired performance is obtained. It is recommended that the adjustment/calibration of the antenna be performed by specialized personnel with related equipment.
