The PNI Escort HP 8001L CB radio station has a switch on the front panel that allows you to select the emergency channel (19), the normal operating mode (CH) and activate the key lock function (L), a useful function in situations when you want to avoid accidentally touching the station keys.

An innovation in the CB segment, the adjustable automatic squelch (ASQ) offers maximum comfort for even the most demanding users of automotive CB radio stations. If until now we were used to activating/deactivating the ASQ, now PNI brings its adjustment function, a function that allows the elimination of up to 100% of interference, background noise and interference from the CB band.

6-pin microphone

The HP 8001L ASQ radio station has a jack for a standard 6-pin microphone on the front panel. The microphone included in the package has channel selection buttons, PTT button and ASQ activation button.

40 channels

The HP 8001L PNI radio station meets the latest European CB standards. The station has a switch for changing the type of modulation (AM or FM) which will allow you to select the operating mode.

Headphone jack with microphone

The HP 8001L PNI radio station has jacks on the front panel for connecting a pair of headsets with microphone, included in the package.

Compatible with PNI Bluetooth accessories

The PNI Escort HP 8001L radio station is compatible with the PNI BT-Dongle 8001 Bluetooth adapter, the BT-MIKE 8500 PNI Bluetooth microphone and the BT-MIKE 7500 PNI Bluetooth headset.

Echo mode and roger beep

The PNI ECH01 echo and roger beep module has been designed to work in conjunction with any radio station in the CB band and VHF/UHF as an add-on module. 

The module has the following main functions:
• Echo: Generating the echo effect of the signal captured by the radio station's microphone and inserting it into the modulation stage;
• Roger beep: Generate a custom signal (via MP3 audio file) at the end of the broadcast and maintain it.

Connect the plug-in to a computer and copy the custom audio file (MP3 or WAV, maximum duration 1.5 seconds) as instructed in the manual.

As a result, at the end of each broadcast, you will also transmit the personalized audio signal that will be received by the other CB users as an end-of-broadcast warning.

Compatibility

The PNI ECH01 echo and roger beep module is compatible with any CB or VHF/UHF radio station regardless of brand.

Add these two new functions to your station and you will make the difference: your received voice will be distinguished from the others by the echo effect, and the end of your broadcast will be marked by an original audio signal.

Connect to your computer and copy custom audio

To write another audio (beep of maximum 1.5 seconds) edited in MP3 or WAV format, you need to connect the PNI ECH01 module via micro USB cable to your laptop (computer) and activate the power switch.

In a few seconds the laptop will find the memory xx MB, then by regular copy transfer the file to the memory of the PNI ECH01 module.

Remember to switch the switch of the PNI ECH01 module to the original working position.
