	Multi-norm CB radio station By changing the norm, the procedure easy to execute by a simple combination of keys, and by changing the modulation (AM/FM) according to the norm, the PNI Escort HP 8900 CB radio station can be used in several countries in Europe, such as Romania, Italy, Spain, UK, Germany, Poland etc. Consult the legislation of each country regarding the use of the CB band, the maximum allowed transmitting power and the need to hold or not a license before using the PNI station.
Noise control functions: SQ, ASQ and RF Gain The PNI Escort HP 8900 CB radio station allows a more faithful control over the background noise specific to the CB band. The 28-level adjustable SQ and 9-level adjustable ASQ function allow the user to filter and eliminate noise, making communication clearer. The 9-level RF Gain function allows control over the reception frequency, reducing distortion.
	1.77" color screen The large color LCD screen (1.77 inches) displays information such as current channel, frequency, modulation, signal strength (RX/TX), norm and active functions, being a reliable indicator of the station's operating status.
Additional Settings Menu The MENU key on the front panel of the station allows direct access to the menu of additional settings: screen brightness, key sound, automatic start, as well as activation, deactivation and setting of functions such as TOT, RF Gain, Noise Blanker, Roger Beep and CTCSS/DCS.

	Performance of the PNI ML100 CB antenna The performance of the product is closely related to the technical characteristics that the antenna has in ideal conditions of assembly and use: SWR <= 1.0, maximum applied power 250 W continuously, impedance 50 Ohms, stainless steel, etc.
Communication distance The communication distance is another decisive factor in the acquisition and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the communication distance of maximum 12 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with a maximum legally allowed power of 4W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as: hills, mountains, buildings, walls can lead to a decrease in this distance.
	Antenna length The length of the antenna is a very important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range. The PNI ML100 antenna has a length of 110 cm (magnetic base included).
Magnetic base The 120/PL magnetic base in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, enough to place the antenna on the dome, has a diameter of 125 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.
	Complete package This kit is ready for assembly having: antenna, magnetic base with cable and PL259 plug, imbus for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on a magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it to use it at maximum performance.
