Radio amateur station President McKinley is the newest product of the President producer, completing the premium range of stations operating in FM AM SSB.

The screen of generous dimensions displays the majority of functions and indicators necessary for use under normal conditions.

Next to the screen, the front speaker allows a clear reception and offers the possibility of mounting in the dedicated 1DIN spaces without blocking the speaker.

Emission power

Radio amateur station President respects the legislative standards, thus, in AM/FM it has a power of 4W, while in USB/LSB it reaches 12W.

The 6-pin microphone offers the possibility to switch any of the station's 40 channels with the Up/Down keys without pressing any button on the station.

What makes the difference

The things that make one station better than another are emphasized primarily by its functions.

The McKinley station has an automatic ASC function that makes us forget about the blurry reception. Along with automatic squalch, the station is equipped with filters that reduce ANL, NB and Hi-Cut background sounds.

RF Gain and Mic Gain adjust the reception/emission sensitivity to communicate over long distances. They must be set to maximum when the correspondent is nearby and can be decreased to reduce distortions.

Multicolor display

Lately, President has started to accustom us to stations with multicolor displays.

Radio amateur station President does not dissociate itself from this function either, so you have the possibility to match the display of the station with those of the car or truck.

The performance of the product is closely related to the technical characteristics of the antenna in ideal conditions of installation and use: SWR <= 1.2, maximum applied power 200 W, impedance 50 Ohms, stainless steel, etc.

Communication distance

The communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the maximum communication distance of 9 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with the legally permitted maximum power of 4W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as: hills, mountains, buildings, walls can reduce this distance.

Antenna length

The length of the antenna is a very important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range of action. The PNI ML70 antenna is 70 cm long (magnetic base included).

Magnetic base

The magnetic base PNI 145/PL in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, enough for placing the antenna on the dome, it has a diameter of 145 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.

Full package

This kit is ready for assembly with: antenna, magnetic base with cable and plug PL259, Allen key for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on the magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it to use it at maximum performance.
