Gas sensor and solenoid valve kit PNI Safe House 200 3/4 Inch
Semiconductor gas sensorThe gas detector in the PNI Safe House 200 kit is used to detect natural gas (methane), LPG gas (main components: propane, butane) and coal gas . When the combustible gas leakage exceeds the standard (20%LEL), the gas detector will emit a continuous 85dB sound alarm accompanied by the red LED on. The built-in semiconductor sensor has a long life (up to 5 years), versatility and high tolerance to extreme ambient conditions and corrosive environments. Note: The sensor cannot detect toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO).
Safety and energy savingThe plug-and-play connection mode makes the PNI Safe House 200 kit extremely easy and practical to install. The flame retardant ABS plastic is anti-mildew, anti-pest, anti-corrosive and easy to clean. With an energy consumption of less than 3W and a low shelf price, the PNI Safe House 200 kit helps you build personal safety. The kit can be widely used in restaurants, kitchens, hospitals, hotels, oil factories, garages, gas stations and so on.
Test methodWhile holding down the lighter button, bring the lighter closer to the gas inlet of the detector and release gas slowly (do not light the lighter, just let gas escape). When the gas concentration around the sensor reaches the standard, it will trigger the alarm which will sound until the gas volume in the environment drops below the alarm point. Note: The sensor warm-up time is approximately 2-3 minutes. During this period, the gas test will not work . At the end of the warm-up (priming) period the detector will emit a confirmation sound. After this moment, the detector enters the normal operating state.
InstallationNatural gas consists of methane gas , which is lighter than air. In the event of a leak, natural gas will rise to the ceiling and collect in the surrounding areas of the ceiling. Therefore, for natural gas, the detector will be installed 30 cm below the ceiling and 1.5 m away from the gas source. LPG gas consists of a mixture of propane and butane , which is heavier than air. If LPG leaks, it will go down to the ground. Therefore, for LPG, the detector must be installed 30 cm above the floor and 1.5 m away from the gas source. Note: Do not install the gas detector in a place with a lot of water vapor as this can damage the sensor which can trigger false alarms. |
