Kit Gas Sensor PNI GD-01 and PNI V-02 solenoid code 2014172
|
Semiconductor Gas SensorThe gas detector in the PNI GD-01 kit is used for the detection of natural gas (methane), LPG gases (main components: propane, butane) and coal gases. When the combustible gas leak exceeds the standard (20%LEL), the gas detector will emit a continuous 70dB audible alarm accompanied by a red LED on. The built-in semiconductor sensor has a long service life (up to 5 years), versatility and high tolerance to extreme environmental conditions and corrosive environments. Note: The sensor cannot detect toxic gases such as carbon monoxide (CO). |
Audible and light alarmWhen the gas concentration reaches the preset level, the device emits a visual and audible alarm. The red LED will flash often accompanied by continuous sound. If the detector is connected to the solenoid valve, it will send an electrical pulse to it. The solenoid valve will shut off the gas flow. The alarm sound of at least 70dB reduces the risk of explosion and protects the life and safety of your property and family. To pause the audible alarm, unplug the detector or wait until the concentration of the gas that triggered the alarm decreases. After removing the cause that triggered the alarm, you can reopen the gas flow by lifting the red button on the solenoid valve (solenoid valve is not included).

Safety and energy savingThe plug-and-play connection module makes the PNI GD-01 kit extremely easy and practical to install. Flame retardant ABS plastic is anti-mildew, anti-pest, anti-corrosion and is easy to clean. With a power consumption of less than 3W and a low shelf price, the PNI GD-01 kit helps you in building personal safety. The kit can be widely used in restaurants, kitchens, hospitals, hotels, oil factories, garages, gas stations and so on. |
Test MethodWhile holding down the lighter button, move the lighter closer to the gas inlet of the detector and release gas slowly (do not light the lighter, just let gas out). When the gas concentration around the sensor reaches the standard, it will trigger the alarm that will sound until the volume of gas in the environment drops below the alarm point. Note: The heating time of the sensor is about 2-3 minutes. During this period, the gas test will not work. At the end of the warm-up (priming) period, the detector will emit a confirmation sound. After this time, the detector enters the normal operating state. |

InstallationNatural gas is made up of methane gas, which is lighter than air. In the event of a leak, the natural gas will rise to the ceiling and collect in the surrounding areas of the ceiling. Therefore, for natural gas, the detector will be installed 30 cm below the ceiling and 1.5 m away from the gas source. LPG gas consists of a mixture of propane and butane, which is heavier than air. If LPG leaks, it will descend to the ground. Therefore, for LPG, the detector must be installed 30 cm above the floor and 1.5 m away from the gas source. Note: Do not install the gas detector in a place with a lot of water vapor, as this may affect the sensor which may trigger false alarms. |
