The PNI PMR R17 portable radio station is a communication tool at anyone's fingertips. The use of the PMR 446MHz frequency does not require a license and is available for both business and personal use in most countries in the European Union.

Walkie-talkie stations are commonly used for recreation, during outdoor activities, on construction sites, or for communication within the same building.

Depending on the surrounding terrain, the range can vary from a few hundred meters (in the city) to several kilometers (open landscape). In addition, PMR446 stations can also be used by radio amateurs and radio enthusiasts, as an experimental band, without a license.

We created this walkie-talkie to unite all the functions important to you in a free-to-use product that allows experts or not, big or small, to communicate in complete freedom.

The PNI PMR R17 uses 16 PMR channels, scans all frequencies within a maximum radius of 12 km , vocally notifies various functions, monitors the current channel , transmits and receives efficiently.

Programmable functions

The functions of the PNI PMR R17 station can be customized using the programming software ( the PNI PSR17 programming kit is purchased separately ).

You can customize functions such as Time Out Timer, Squelch level, voice prompt, power saving, VOX or Scramble.

You have 50 CTCSS codes and 105 DCS tones available for private conversations.

Desktop charger included

Place the PMR station in the included desktop charger . Connect the charger's power supply to a 230V power source.

During charging, the LED on the charger is red and turns green when the battery is fully charged.

Waterproof class IP68

The PNI PMR R17 is 100% protected against dust and sand and the station has been tested for operation for at least 30 minutes while underwater (submerged up to a maximum of 1 m).
