This year brings to the radio station market the new model from President, Harrison II. With a similar size to the first model, Harrison II comes with a new way of positioning the buttons which makes it easier to use, but also some additional functions.

Similarities to the first model

The well-known President brand also maintains its patented ASC function of automatic squalch for the reduction of reception noise in the Harrison II model along with the ANL (Integrated Automatic Noise Limiter), Noise Blanker.

The possibility of changing the color of the display in the 7 variants and the Roger Beep function remain included in this version as well.

News of Harrison II

The President Harrison II radio also comes with some additional features compared to the old model. Among them, we list the presence of a 5V-2.1A USB port on the front panel for charging electronic devices. On the back of the station you will additionally find the possibility of adding a VOX microphone in addition to the external speaker and PA jacks.

To further reduce the background noise, a new Noise Gate filter has been added that offers an even more delicate reception along with the improvement of the Noise Blanker through a Compander.

President Harrison II measures 125 x 180 x 45 mm and weighs approximately 820 grams.

The dual 12V / 24V power supply will allow you to power it to any kind of car or truck without any worries.

An ideal travel companion

The President Harrison II CB radio station comes equipped with a 6-pin microphone that, in addition to the PTT button, also includes Up/Down buttons for changing channels. There is no missing the power cable and the stand and microphone.

Attention, this model does not include a cigarette lighter socket.

The performance of the product is closely related to the technical characteristics of the antenna in ideal conditions of installation and use: SWR <= 1.2, maximum applied power 200 W, impedance 50 Ohms, stainless steel, etc.

Communication distance

The communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the maximum communication distance of 9 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with the legally permitted maximum power of 4W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as: hills, mountains, buildings, walls can reduce this distance.

Antenna length

The length of the antenna is a very important factor that can influence the communication distance. Thus, the longer the antenna, the greater the range of action. The PNI ML70 antenna is 70 cm long (magnetic base included).

Magnetic base

The magnetic base PNI 145/PL in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, enough for placing the antenna on the dome, it has a diameter of 145 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.

Full package

This kit is ready for assembly with: antenna, magnetic base with cable and plug PL259, Allen key for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on the magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it to use it at maximum performance.
