The PNI Escort HP 5500 CB radio station is ultra compact, measuring only 115 X 115 X 35 mm it can fit even in the smallest spaces.

Easy to install: just plug it into the cigarette lighter socket and outdoor CB antenna mounted on the car dome.

The PNI Escort HP 5500 has been designed with simplicity in mind so that anyone can use it with ease. The high-quality electret condenser encapsulated in the microphone provides clear and powerful sound.

Important functions - anti-noise: SQ, ASQ and RF Gain

The PNI Escort HP 5500 CB radio station allows the most faithful control over the background noise specific to the CB band.

The analog potentiometer adjustable SQ function and 5-level ASQ allow the user to filter and remove noises making communication clearer.

The 7-level RF Gain function allows control over the receive frequency, reducing distortion.

Other features of the PNI Escort HP 5500 station : emission power 4W, power supply 12-24V, 40 channels, AM/FM modulation, emergency channels 9-19, 6-pin connector for microphone, additional plug for external speaker.

Multistandard and multiband CB station

By setting the rate and modulation, you can use the station in Great Britain (UK) and most European Union countries.

The PNI Escort HP 5500 is equipped with the main European bands ( EU, CE, UK, PL, dE, in, i0, l2 ).

NOTE, to change the norm:

1. Turn off the station; simultaneously press the PTT key + the UP key on the microphone while restarting the radio station

2. The LED corresponding to the A/F key lights up, and the current norm appears on the screen

3. Press the UP-DOWN keys to reach the desired rate, then restart the station or press the PTT key to exit the rate setting mode.

The performance of the product is closely related to the technical characteristics of the antenna in ideal conditions of installation and use: SWR <= 1.1, maximum power applied 250 W continuously, impedance 50 Ohms, stainless steel, etc.

Communication distance

The communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. Thus, the maximum communication distance of 12 km is achieved under ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, open field without obstacles, the station with the legally permitted maximum power of 4W and with a standard reception. Antenna length

Magnetic base

The magnetic base 120/PL in the package is provided with a 4 m cable, enough to place the antenna on the dome, it has a diameter of 125 mm and a strong magnet that gives the antenna stability even at high speeds.

Complete package

This kit is ready for assembly with: antenna, magnetic base with cable and plug PL259, Allen key for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on the magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it to use it at maximum performance.
