The PNI PMR R17 portable radio station is a communication tool available to anyone. The use of the PMR 446MHz frequency does not require a license and is available for both business and personal use in most countries of the European Union.

Walkie-talkie stations are commonly used for recreation, during outdoor activities, on construction sites, or for communication within the same building.

Depending on the surrounding terrain, the range can vary from a few hundred meters (in the city) to a few kilometers (open landscape). In addition, PMR446 stations can also be used by radio amateurs and radio enthusiasts, as an experimental band, without a license.

Free-to-use portable radio station

PNI PMR R17 uses 16 PMR channels, scans all frequencies within a maximum radius of 12 km , vocally announces various functions, monitors the current channel , transmits and receives efficiently.

Programmable functions

The functions of the PNI PMR R17 station can be customized with the help of the programming software ( the PNI PSR17 programming kit is purchased separately ).

You can customize functions such as Time Out Timer, Squelch level, voice prompt, energy saving, VOX or Scramble.

You have 50 CTCSS codes and 105 DCS tones for private conversations.

Desktop charger included

Attach the PMR station to the included desktop charger . Connect the charger's power supply to a 230V power source.

During charging, the LED on the charger is red and turns green when the battery is fully charged.

IP68 waterproof class

The PNI PMR R17 is 100% protected against dust and sand and the station has been tested to operate for at least 30 minutes while underwater (submerged to a maximum of 1m).
