A practical scanner

Scan Favorites - Allows you to organize systems into Favorites lists. The scanner will scan multiple favorites lists and complete databases at the same time.

• 4 GB microSD card (supplied - 1 GB up to 32 GB supported) - For storing favorites lists, profiles, all settings, discovery sessions and recording sessions.

• Range Control - Allows you to determine how far away it is from your current location, the scanner will search for channels in Favorite Lists. Location accuracy for departments and sites, which allows you to define a location and range using rectangles instead of just a single circle.

• Trunk Tracker V operation - scans the trunk systems APCO 25 Phase 1 and Phase 2, DMR, Motorola, EDACS, EDACS ProVoice and LTR, as well as conventional analog and P25 digital channels.

Ways of working

• Audio recording - Capture broadcasts for later playback. Instant playback - Plays up to 240 seconds (4 minutes) of the latest broadcasts.

• Custom alerts - You can program the scanner to alert you when you receive a channel or unit ID, an end call, an ID is sent with an emergency alert, or a tone access. For each alert in the scanner, you can select from 9 different tone patterns, 15 volume settings, 7 colors, and 2 flash patterns.

• Multicolor LED Alert - The 7-color alert LED, blue, red, magenta, green, cyan, yellow or white, can be used with your personalized alerts.

• Multi-level display and keyboard light - Makes the display and keyboard easy to see in low light with three levels of light.

Search and scan

• Trunking Discovery - Monitors system traffic from a trunk radio system to find unknown IDs and automatically records audio and records new channels for further review and identification.

• Conventional discovery - Searches for a range of frequencies to find unknown frequencies and automatically records sound from and records new channels for further review and identification.

• Scan by type of service - Scan your channels by type of service, ie firefighters, police, rail, etc.

• Search speed - 80 steps / sec. (typically) in Search mode (max), except for 5 kHz steps. 250 steps / sec. (typical) in Search mode (max) - (Turbo Search) for 5 kHz steps.

Scanner range

• System / channel number tagging - Numeric tags allow you to quickly navigate to a specific list of favorites, system, or channel.

• Startup setup - You can program each preference list with a power key (0-9), so that when you turn on the scanner and press the number key, only those preference lists assigned to the key will be activated for scanning.

• End call © RF capture technology - Set the scanner to detect and provide information about nearby radio broadcasts. End call Do not bother checking the Close call activity between channel reception so that the active channels are not interrupted.

• Broadcast screen - Allows the scanner to ignore access in the search and End call modes. You can also program up to 10 custom frequency ranges that the scanner will ignore.
